About the Course
Norwood Hills Country Club was originally founded as North Hills Country Club in 1922 and the founders selected Wayne Stiles from Boston as the Club’s course architect. Norwood Hills is home to two 18 hole layouts, the West Course and the East Course.
The Stifel Charity Classic presented by Compliance Solutions will be contested on the West Course, which has a rather elite history of hosting events, boasting the 1948 PGA Championship, the 2001 USGA Senior Amateur Championship and the 2018 USGA Women's Mid-Amateur Championship, just to name a few. At nearly 6900 yards and Par 71, it is one of the best in St. Louis. True to the 1920's (The Golden Age of Golf Architecture), it has rolling, undulating fairways and strategic contoured greens requiring accurate driving and deft iron play.
